BBQ Chicken Nachos

Description

These BBQ chicken nachos can be mastered in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 bag tortilla chips
  • 1/2 BBQ chicken or rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 3/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup white queso
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese mix
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 1 cup sour cream or spiced sour cream in a piping bag or Ziploc bag with small hole cut in the corner
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green onions, diced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. On a sheet pan, spread out the nacho chips. 
  3. Top with shredded chicken.
  4. Squirt BBQ sauce across the top of the chicken.
  5. Spoon the salsa on top of the chicken.
  6. Top with white queso, Mexican cheese, and red onion. 
  7. Cook in the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until cheese is just melted.
  8. Remove from the oven and top with sour cream, cilantro, and green onions. 

Notes

I like to pipe the sour cream or spiced sour cream across the top (feel free to get creative with design).
